Duties:The Monroe County School District (MCSD) is looking for a dynamic, highly qualified individual with strong organizational and people skills to take the helm as a Account Clerk III in the Finance Department. This exciting opportunity will afford the selected applicant the opportunity to work alongside a group of our district’s finest leaders in Florida. The MCSD administrative building is located in beautiful Old Town Key West. The essential function of the position within the organization is to perform moderately complex to complex clerical and technical accounting functions in the maintenance of accounting and internal control systems for the assigned school and/or department. The position is responsible for assisting with the coordination or management of office fiscal operations; efficiently recording, summarizing and reporting the result of financial activities; providing responsible clerical or administrative assistance to supervisor, and performing related tasks as assigned. The position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
Experience Required:Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Requires six months of related experience (a comparable amount of training, education or experience can be substituted for the minimum qualifications).
Wage or Salary:16.18
